Not just a product, a ritual
Everything the ritual demanded.
Nothing it didn't.
Thousands of plunges taught me the cold was never the point. The cold was the door. Everything around it was broken: water too cold to stay in, water not cold enough to matter, a bowl so cramped it closed in on you, guessing the temperature, surfacing and wondering what just happened. You weren't practicing anything. You were surviving it.
So I started over. Every answer came from the plunges themselves, one iteration at a time: the first full breath I took with my face in the cold, plunge after plunge, the first time I could hold the exact temperature.
The Breath Stem™ was only the first. Then came the Water Vessel. The Basin. The Foundation. The Gauge. Each one had to exist because the ritual demanded it. Somewhere in those iterations, it all changed: it stopped being a cold hack you saw scrolling social media, and became the glow you see, the shift you feel.
Obsessively, I removed every point of friction until all that remained was ease. Every millimeter considered.
Nothing here was added to make the system feel bigger. Everything is here because the ritual demanded it, because consideration is the highest form of love. Which leaves you the simplest task of all.
Just add water.
The Breath Stem™
Patent pending · Food-grade silicone
Your face is underwater and your body doesn't know it.
I thought about this moment more than any other: the second before you go under, the hesitation, the negotiation, the breath you instinctively hold. For decades, cold water has asked the same thing — hold your breath and get through it.
I wanted to give you a different experience. The Breath Stem™ was meticulously designed for one purpose only:
To let you breathe naturally while your face is submerged.
Not for swimming. Not for diving. For this. Because the greatest limitation in every cold routine isn't the cold. It's the breath. The moment you hold it, your body braces, and your attention shifts from the experience to the need for air.
The Breath Stem™ changes that. You breathe as freely and fully as you always do. Calm. Continuous. Uninterrupted. The cold becomes something you can stay with.
That's why it's short. Why it's wide. Why it's hands-free. Why every detail was refined until it disappeared. When breathing becomes effortless, everything else can begin.
This is the unlock.

And every other detail.
Ten more pieces. None added to make the system feel bigger. Each one removes a little more friction.
The Basin
Every bowl you've ever owned was designed to hold food. Never your face. I looked for one that felt right. It didn't exist.
The Basin was shaped for complete facial and neck immersion, with geometry that creates space instead of compression. The water surrounds you without closing in.
A higher flared rim keeps the water where it belongs. Interior markings make the perfect fill effortless.
Matte. Sculptural. Designed to be displayed. What stays visible is what becomes a practice.
Crafted from bamboo composite, one of the world's fastest-renewing natural resources. While growing, bamboo absorbs carbon dioxide and releases oxygen, making it one of nature's most remarkable renewable materials.
For centuries, bamboo has symbolized resilience. It bends without breaking. In Zen philosophy, its hollow form represents openness — a fitting material for a practice centered on letting go, slowing down, and returning to yourself.
The Foundation
A flat surface asks your neck to do the work. I wanted the product to meet you instead.
A patent-pending design gently raises and angles the Basin to meet you where your body naturally wants to be, making full facial immersion feel effortless. Stable. Balanced. Zero wobble. Less strain. More presence.
When posture disappears, so does another distraction. Between plunges, it becomes the home for every piece. Always together. Always ready.
The Water Vessel
FOOD-GRADE • BPA FREE
Ice was never the point. Cold water was. Ice became the default because no one knew the ideal temperature for a facial plunge. But it's slow, imprecise, and leaves the final temperature to guesswork. I wanted precision. The integrated Gauge Port lets you measure the water without interrupting the ritual.
The Water Vessel lives in your refrigerator, always ready at approximately 37°F. Cold enough to reach the ideal plunge temperature without relying on floating ice or guesswork.
Without ice, the water becomes one smooth, uninterrupted surface. Nothing distracts from the experience. Just effortless immersion.
Refill. Refrigerate. Repeat.
Tomorrow is already cold.
The Gauge
Confidence comes from certainty. While developing the Breath Plunge, I discovered something unexpected: the best plunge wasn't the coldest one. It was the right one.
The difference between 45°F and 60°F changes everything. Too cold becomes uncomfortable. Too warm loses its edge. Colder was never better. Precision was. The Gauge removes the guesswork before your face ever touches the water, helping you build consistency from day one.
Soon you'll know the temperature by feel. That's the goal. Until then, it's always nice to know for sure. One less thing to think about. One more reason to return.
The Nose Clip
For many people, water entering the nose is the only thing standing between curiosity and consistency.
The Nose Clip creates a comfortable seal, allowing every breath to flow through the Breath Stem™ so your attention stays on your breath, not the distraction.
Between plunges, it clips directly onto the Breath Stem™, so it's always exactly where you left it — ready for your next plunge.
Use it as long as you like — or not at all. Many people enjoy using the Nose Clip every plunge, while others eventually prefer plunging without it. Many people eventually discover they don't need it anymore. There is no right or wrong way — only what feels best for you.
The Headband
Hair back. Edges dry. Nothing in the water but you.
Small distractions become big ones when you're trying to be present. The Headband removes one more point of friction, leaving nothing but your breath.
The Towel
The most overlooked part of the ritual. The moment you return matters just as much as the moment you enter.
A soft towel, perfectly sized for the face, waits within reach. Dry gently. Notice the shift. Return to your day.
The Breath Stem™ Cleaning Sponge
The ritual isn't complete until tomorrow is ready.
The Breath Stem™ and Basin deserve the same care they give you. A dedicated sponge reaches every corner in seconds, making the reset as effortless as the plunge itself.
PLUNJI leaves you better than it found you. Return the favor.
The Travel Pouch
Food-grade silicone. Waterproof. Built to outlast the habit.
The ritual works best when everything stays together. The Travel Pouch keeps your essentials together, fitting perfectly inside the Foundation for storage and travel.
Soon you'll make it your own. A favorite towel. Skincare. Hair ties. Whatever becomes part of your ritual has a home.
Nothing left behind. Nothing to reassemble.
The Nest
The ritual is easier to return to when everything has a home.
The entire system nests neatly inside the Basin, creating one unified piece for storage and travel. Every component has a home, so tomorrow begins where today ended.
Your future self will thank you.
